I have attached both the Dxf image and original fusion file as there could be another issue with the original sketch file, such as the double line before (I inspected this updated drawing for double lines, and could not find any). Do I need to combine the paths of all elements? Or simply the inside part? Also, on my previous sketch, when I zoomed in close in the node editor I notice that the corners were broken, and I believe I fixed this in the new file attached below.
I am, however, still very new to this program so I could be missing something. I went to look at the nodes, and I could not see any duplicate or double nodes. I successfully imported this into Inkscape, but once again when I went to fill it made the same mistake as before. I realized that the sketch I had created in Fusion was not perfectly accurate, and so I made an updated one. Any help would be much appreciated, and if more information is needed please let me know. I am not sure if this is an issue with the Fusion 360 file itself, or maybe I am uploading it incorrectly or doing something wrong. Please see the *poorly* shaded image to better understand what I mean.
I simply want to fill in the main portion of the design, leaving the holes in the middle blank so I can use it to clip other designs and images into the same shape. In the attached images below, the strange infill can be seen, along with the heavily distorted edges on the green design. When I use the paint bucket command to fill the design, it distorts the edges (which is important as this is supposed to be a dimensionally accurate drawing). When I imported it into Inkscape, everything seemed fine, but when I went to infill the design, it created lines that are not in the design and filled in in the wrong places. Attached below is a screenshot and the file that contains said sketch. I just started using Inkscape today, and am trying to make a design that requires me to fill a sketch drawing from fusion 360.
